
Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the departure of midfielder Yves Bissouma after the conclusion of his contract.
The club made the announcement as part of its end-of-season retained list on Wednesday. Bissouma, who joined Spurs from Brighton in 2022 for around £30 million, leaves north London as a free agent after four years at the club.
During his time at Tottenham, the Ivorian-born Mali international made 111 appearances and played a role in the team’s UEFA Europa League success in 2025.
No further details on his next move have been confirmed at this stage.
Tottenham also confirmed the departures from the Under-21s, of Pele Arganese-McDermott, Tyrell Ashcroft, Leo Black, Dante Cassanova, Matthew Craig and Calum Logan following the conclusion of their contracts.
From the Under-18s, the club confirmed the departure of Jamel Beggs, Samal Bangura and Leon Myrtaj following the conclusion of their respective contract and scholarships. The club’s statement added that Elijah Upson rejected the offer of a contract and will leave the Club.
The club extended their “grateful thanks” to all departing players and their families for their contributions to the club and “wish them every success in the future.”
