Saudi Pro League club Al-Ettifaq are nearing a deal to sign Jordan Larsson from Danish champions FC Copenhagen, with negotiations at an advanced stage, according to multiple media reports.

According to transfer journalist Ben Jacobs, the clubs are discussing a fee with Copenhagen holding out for around $1.5 million while Al-Ettifaq are prepared to offer $1 million plus performance-related add-ons.

Fabrizio Romano reported earlier Thursday that the 28-year-old Swedish international has already agreed personal terms with the Saudi side after an impressive season that saw him contribute to 28 goal involvements.

Larsson, son of former Barcelona and Sweden striker Henrik Larsson, joined Copenhagen permanently from Schalke 04 in 2023 after an initial loan spell. He has made over 140 appearances for the club, scoring 39 goals and providing 16 assists. His current contract runs until June 2027.

A move to Al-Ettifaq would mark Larsson’s first experience outside Europe.

No official confirmation has come from either club yet, but sources indicate the transfer could be finalized in the coming days or weeks if the clubs bridge the remaining gap on the transfer fee.
