Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has firmly dismissed suggestions that the club would consider offers for winger Michael Olise, insisting the player remains a central pillar of Bayern’s long-term plans.

Speaking to German media, Hainer made it clear that Bayern have received no official approach from Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez for the 24-year-old, despite intense transfer speculation linking Olise with a move to Spain.

Hainer told BILD:

“Michael Olise is a player for FC Bayern Munich who still has a long contract – and we are not a selling club. Should Florentino Pérez want to send us an offer – which hasn’t happened so far – he can save himself the trouble.”

The comments follow public remarks from Pérez, who stated, “Olise is a great player, but it’s not Olise,” when asked if the Bayern Munich winger was the target of an upcoming record-breaking transfer offer.

During an interview on the Spanish television show Horizonte, Pérez teased a massive campaign promise ahead of the club’s presidential election weekend. He announced that he would launch a club-record bid of at least €150 million for an unnamed, superstar Champions League player.

When pressed on whether the mystery “Galáctico” was Olise, Pérez explicitly denied it alongside a few other high-profile names. Pérez stated that his true target is a midfielder or forward who does not play in the Premier League, but is an “incredibly exciting” superstar.

However, several sports outlets have reported that Olise is secretly Real Madrid’s number-one transfer priority, claiming that Pérez grew enamored with Olise’s quality and attitude during Real Madrid’s Champions League clashes against Bayern Munich.

Regardless of Pérez’s public deflection or behind-the-scenes interest, Bayern Munich’s hierarchy has maintained that Olise is strictly untouchable and would not be sold even for €200 million.

The Bayern president stressed that even if interest were to materialize, the club’s position would remain unchanged. According to Hainer, Olise is tied to a long-term contract and is viewed as an important part of Bayern’s project for the coming years.

Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024 for a reported €53 million fee. The French winger enjoyed a sensational debut season with Bayern Munich, firmly establishing himself as one of Europe’s most lethal attackers.

During the 2025/26 season, he made 52 appearances across all competitions, netting 22 goals and providing 31 assists to rack up an incredible 53 direct goal contributions. His exceptional form helped power Bayern to a historic treble, capturing the Bundesliga, German Cup, and German Super Cup titles.
